MUTTON BUSTIN’ IS BACK… AND BETTER THAN EVER with our ALL-NEW Mutton Bustin’ Prelims!

We’re bringing something NEW to the Franklin Rodeo this year where kids can qualify for the big stage!

Join us in the Fan Zone! This is your little ones chance to compete in the prelims, and the top 5 qualifiers on Thursday/Friday night and top 6 qualifiers on Saturday night, will earn a spot to ride in the arena during the rodeo!

• First ride starts 5:00 PM with the last ride at 6:30 PM
• $10 per child to participate
• Must be 50 lbs or under
• No age limit—just hang on tight!
• Parents: print online release and bring it with you.

Safety First:
We’ll provide a helmet and vest to keep your little rider safe as they take on the woolly challenge.
*One parent can join their child in the preliam area for support and if your child is a qualifier, one parent can join them on the rodeo arena floor for support.

Calling All Young Cowboys & Cowgirls for the Calf Scramble! 🐄🎉

Get ready for some down-in-the-dirt fun with our Calf Scramble—the perfect chance for kids to get up close with our fuzzy little farm animals!

How It Works:
🐮 We’ll tie ribbons to the tails of three calves and set them loose in the arena.
🐾 Kids will race to grab a ribbon and return it to the rodeo clown.
💰 The first three participants to hand in a ribbon will win a cash prize!

👉 Lost items? We’re not responsible for misplaced boots, flip-flops, hats—or anything stepped in besides good ol’ arena dirt!
